Why Solar ?

We asked ourselves the same question? It doesn't work at night (at least not yet!) and the cost for a photovoltaic panel was around $1500 in 2007 when Vigor started up. The cost per kWh expense of solar was definitely for those with deep pockets and/or those dedicated environmentally minded individuals.

Along came the Ontario Government Green Energy Act and with it...the Feed In Tariff. Now solar makes "cents" in Ontario!

The Ontario Power Authority is offering 20 year contracts for you to generate electricity and sell back to the electrical grid with solar.
